Growing up, my favourite fairytale was Sleeping Beauty. I got it on video tape one Christmas and I couldn't stop watching it. I got swept away with the magic and the romance of having Prince Charming arrival to the rescue. Also the fact she could sleep for a hundred years and still look as good, any girls dream, no? Lol.
Now many years later I still idea that my Prince would come and salvage me so I could live 'happily ever after'. Unfortunately although many a frog were kissed, they stayed frogs and my quest for the mythical Prince Charming grew laborious.

Once upon a time there was a Princess called Nimisha, she lived in the fair city of Leicester in rainy old England. Now she was newly particular and felt rather sorry for herself. She didn't want to go out, socialize with friends, life for her just seemed very blue and over cast.
One day her friend called her up and said he had friends who had come over from the States and were all heading out that night and that she should join them. She battled with this idea for a while, and was pushed by her own mum to get her royal ass out and enjoy life. After rather forceful persuasion and hours of picking the right outfit she was ready to party the night away.
So Nimisha and her friend roll up to the hotel to pick up the guests, men being men, they were still not ready, taking their sweet time to iron and shower and make themselves look pretty for the Uk ladies. At this point she had only seen one of the guys; she was polite and was production amiable conversation.
Now fantasize this next bit as a dream sequence in slow motion! Ok so the guy who was in the shower ultimately gets out of the bathroom and as he walked out and across the room, her eyes follow him, mouth slightly open and in her head she was like Omg! This boy was Fine!
Her next idea was I bet he has a girl so act cool and stop drooling! So she carried on sipping this awful drink she was keeping to calm her nerves. So there he was trying to outline out what to wear, he ended up wearing a pink t-shirt all thanks to the Princess's gentile persuasion.
As Nimisha has her camera surgically attached to her, the recommendation of taking pictures came about and the boys were not camera shy at all. So happy snapping began, it gave her the occasion to have a photo with him. He didn't seem shy and was happy to get up close and personal with her, invading her personal space but not in an intrusive way.
As she stood there next to him, his arm round her waist, he smelt amazing, each breath she took made her feel intoxicated by him. There was something so magical about him; it just didn't feel real for her.
As the night went on they seemed to associate on so many distinct levels, but it was hard for her as she idea this is just a holiday romance and he will soon be gone and that would be it. The night came to an end at dawn and the sun was moderately rising as she made her way home. The idea of his hand caressing her face gave her butterflies and her lips were sore. She went to bed smiling hoping when she wakes up it is not just a dream.
To her pleasure morning came and it was far more than a dream, they spent a little time that day talking but it was difficult due to other things going on. He then had to work the following week in Oxford (England) which made Nimisha think that positively was it and that she would never see him again.
So that Sunday night she sends him a Facebook message, thanking him for a lovely Friday night and if he would like to see her again, his response was "Whenever you want to see me I want to see you... Sooner the best ". Sounds promising right? They message back and forth and he invites her to stay with him the whole time he is there.
So what is a girl to do, she hardly knew him and now he wants her to hang out all week, this was difficult, what if he is a murderer or into some weird shit? It was a very big risk she was about to take. Somehow she convinced herself it would be ok, so she packed a bag and off she went.
The next few days were just amazing; it was like the longest first date ever but in a good way. They got to know each other positively well and have fun trying to scrutinize Oxford.
All good things have to come to an end; this was no distinct as he had to go back to the states. So what now I hear you say? Was it just a holiday romance? Is this it?
My personal fairytale could have ended right there but it wouldn't positively be much of one. It would be more of a tragic love story as it stands with the guy leaving to go to an additional one county leaving the princess heartbroken! Oh sooo sad.
But for me, I didn't positively see it as the end, I told him I would come over to see him in the States, but I don't positively think he believed me. So 2 weeks after he had left, I booked my flight packed my bag and within 8 hours I was standing at arrivals in Newark international airport. I was a little nervous, and scared thinking that he wouldn't come to pick me up and it was one big joke to him. But thankfully there he drove up in his white car (could have been a white horse); I couldn't believe it I was positively in New Jersey with my Prince Charming.
It ultimately sunk in that I was there, with him, it just seemed so right. It was August 4th an evening I very clearly remember, we stopped by Flor De Mayo to meet some of his friends and have this god awful drink called the nutcracker. We sat talking with every person when he turned to look at me and asks me, "Will you be my girlfriend?" I was like Omg, firstly no one has ever been so sweet as to ask me, they just assume and secondly Hell Yeah! Lol.
We have now been together for just over 4 months and it still feels just as magical as it did the first time I saw him.
So ladies and gentlemen there is magic out there in the world, sometimes you have to tour that little bit supplementary to find it, but be sure it is absolutely there.
